Italdesign’s new image, “Italdesign Automobili Speciali”, will make its introduction amid the following Geneva International Motor Show. The new brand will highlight on all vehicles developed in ultra low arrangement generation, went for selected collectors.
Filippo Perini, Head of Innovation Design, expressed: “When planning this new logo, we were enlivened by the image of the City of Turin. In this city the historical backdrop of Italian vehicle was conceived, the most popular and prestigious carmakers were conceived, and in addition the “coachbuilders” who made the Italian auto plan celebrated around the world. In addition, it’s the city which facilitated, from 1968 to 1974, the main Headquarters of Italdesign. With this logo accordingly we needed to praise the energy and the know-how that preferably join Italdesign and Turin”.
The logo of Italdesign Automobili Speciali 01 has acquired the Patronage of the City of Turin. Italdesign is along these lines coming back to little arrangement creation, a test that started in the Seventies with the BMW M1, and proceeded in the Eighties with the Aztec model and the Nineties with BMW Nazca and VW W12.
”We stated in 2016 that we do have the competences in styling, development and production of street-legal ultra low series cars. Today, one year later, we are delivering the first running testimonial”, CEO Jörg Astalosch said. ”This part of our business has been now integrated into our existing service portfolio. This is styling, engineering, prototyping for small and high volume production vehicles, especially also as a turnkey competence. One example for these services in general is the recently launched Audi Q2.”
Italdesign Automobili Speciali 01 is powered by a 5.2-liter V10 that will send it to 62 mph in 3.2 seconds and on to a top speed in excess of 205 mph. Given the fact that Italdesign is controlled by Lamborghini and the two companies often work closely with each other, we’re pretty confident this is the world’s most exclusive Lamborghini Huracán. Those few buyers will be able to outfit their car to their taste with help from the Italdesign staff.
